This April we talk with our Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber Kelly. Kelly is a registered nurse and advanced aesthetics practitioner, and works with Cotswold Surgical Partners offering skin care advice and non-surgical treatments and procedures every week.
Medical Aesthetics works holistically with our Consultant Dermatologists as many conditions overlap. Patients can also be transferred between the two specialties if required, to better manage and support their condition. What can a Medical Aesthetics Appointment offer you?
We provide a no-obligation consultation on skin care health and non-surgical cosmetic procedures and treatments covering Swindon, Calne, Cirencester, Bath, Oxford, Newbury, Chippenham and surrounding areas. Our new, purpose-built facility is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment rooms and the latest medical equipment. We are a CQC regulated medical practice, and a SAVE FACE accredited aesthetic clinic; adhering to the highest possible standards of safety and clinical expectations.
During a consultation, Kelly will review any skin concern affecting you. This could be on your face, neck, hands or decolletage.
This will help develop a plan individualised for your needs and expectations, considering any specific areas of concerns you have.

A skin care consultation will enable a better understanding of your skin and therefore a recommendation for specific skin care products and treatments suitable and safe for you and your skin type, in order to give you an effective result. Good skin care starts with home products but these used in conjunction with other treatments will give a particularly good result. From anti wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, chemical peels and profhilo. Each one offers different benefits for different conditions and skin types.
Some treatments and products can only be provided after a consultation, to ensure that it is the right treatment for you, and can be administered safely with a full understanding of contraindications. If necessary, you will be provided with time to consider the treatment plan before committing, so you can reflect on your consultation and make an informed choice about how to proceed, and if you feel comfortable.
