Dr Boyd-Carson is a GP with a Specialist Interest in Dermatology, and works alongside Cotswold Surgical Partners to support the delivery of NHS funded dermatology in the community from our clinic based at Spa Medical Centre in Melksham. He developed a passion for minor skin cancer surgery and dermatology during training while working at the Royal United Hospital Bath Dermatology department. Through his work there he has now achieved group 3 accreditation from the British association of dermatologists for skin cancer surgery and management of inflammatory dermatoses.

Background:

Prior to this Dr Boyd-Carson completed his foundation training in Birmingham in 2017 and spent three years working in Australia’s Sunshine Coast as an emergency registrar.

He currently continues to work at the Royal United Hospital dermatology department focusing on skin cancer clinics, skin cancer surgery and inflammatory clinics. He also has begun to operate locally in the community skin cancer service in Melksham. Alongside this he continues his work in general practise with a focus on community dermatology.
